On April 23, the Federal Trade Commission approved a final rule that will ban most employer-employee non-compete agreements. The rule represents an unprecedented federal initiative to invalidate agreements commonly entered into between employers and employees. On April 15, 2024, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission released the long-awaited final regulations implementing the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA).
